Title:

Field Supervisor

First, we would like to get to know more about you . . .

What is the most important thing someone needs to know about you?

I believe the most important thing about an individual is his or her morals. This can be a very complicated topic. I find that the “golden rule” does a good job of simplifying it though. When it comes to my customers, I put myself in their shoes so that I can relate to their situation and take care of their needs. I know that they are in a tuff spot by the time that I arrive. They are working on anything from a big home improvement project to dealing with a partial electrical outage. It is my job to treat them with the same level of service as I would expect… and I have some pretty high standards.

Tell me about your family, what do you all enjoy doing together?

I have a beautiful young family. My wife Amy and I share two boys and a girl. We love to do just about anything outdoors, but I think that hiking is our favorite.

What are your hobbies?

When I have some time to myself I find that I usually end up in the garage. I’ll grab a wrench and fix a bathroom faucet or I’ll put together some scrap wood and build some art. I thrive on productivity and enjoy the outdoors so camping and everything that goes along with that is right up my alley.

Do you have a hidden talent?

I consider my critical thinking skills to be hidden in plain sight. Purposely changing perspectives gives me an advantage in problem-solving and helps keep my mind sharp.

What accomplishment are you most proud of in your life?

San Dimas Local Electrician - Mike | Accurate

I’m certainly most proud of my wife and the kids that we’ve been blessed with. Finding Accurate is right up there too. I’ve been with Accurate for almost 8 years now and I know that I’m a better person because of it. Jeff and Eric are two amazing men that have helped me more than they’ll ever know.

Is there anything else you want to share about yourself?

People usually find it interesting that I’m a beekeeper and love working in the garden.

Now let’s talk about work . . .

How long have you worked and what does your role entail?

This is my eighth year with Accurate.  As the field supervisor, I must rise to the highest levels of integrity and reliability. My day to day application of management skills provides me many opportunities to grow the strengths of our entire team. I play a leading role in ensuring the delivery of top quality service.  This is our promise, and it is something our customers should expect.

Why did you choose this trade?

I was genuinely interested from a very young age in the way things worked. Taking apart old TV sets and cassette players was fun to me. Most of the things that I took apart were electronic, so that’s where my attention was placed. It was a self-taught skill that came pretty easy so as I grew, I continued to nurture the interest. I ultimately chose this trade for those reasons, but also because I enjoy working with people. Our customers give me the opportunity to problem solve and provide great solutions. From these opportunities grow great relationships.

What is the best part about working for Accurate?

The relationships between team members are way out in front of any other work environment that I’ve been a part of. We care about one another, and that is clear when we’re working side by side with our friends.

What words of wisdom or encouragement do you have for our customers?

At Accurate, we treat you like family. We are a tight group of an honest and hard-working ethic.

Do you have a number one electrical or HVAC tip for our customers?

Most people lose sight of the idea of maintenance when it comes to their utility systems. If we keep up with our systems, they will keep up with us.
